Report about more than 3,000 reels of microfilms in official German archives, containing lists of German Jews (‘Judenregister’) from the late 19th century to the Nazi era. Microfilms were held primarily in "Personenstandsarchiv Brühl", covering Jews in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as in Berlin, the former German Democratic Republic (East-Germany) and former German provinces in Poland, such as East-Prussia, Pomerania, Posen, Silesia and West-Prussia. Other “Judenregister” were held in various other German state archives
