Vital records, ID cards, education certificates, photographs and some correspondence pertaining to Leonie and Ernst Steiner, as well as to their daughter Eva and to Ernst’s parents, Jakob and Olga (née Weil) Steiner.Ernst Steiner was born 1907 in Vienna, Austria to Olga (née Weil) and the butcher Jakob Steiner. After high school Ernst worked as a storekeeper, butcher and accountant. Ernst Steiner married Leonie Obersohn in 1931. She was born 1910 to the lawyer Wilhelm and Bertha (née Jellinek) Obersohn. Leonie worked as a secretary and later as a domestic servant. Ernst and Leonie’s daughter Eva was born 1932 in Vienna.
