The purpose of this work is to design a digital recursive filter of a desired amplitude response without previous knowledge of a continuous equivalent filter. In order to obtain a small number of coefficients the recursive character for the filter was chosen. The results obtained show that the method here described works satisfactorily for filters whose amplitude responses do not have a steep change at very low frequencies
