Area ratios of the downstream pipes to the upstream pipe were 2.25:11 4:11 9:1, 16:11 and 25:1. The cone angles of the diffusers were 10°, 30°, 45°, 60°, go°, 120° and 180°. Fully developed turbulent flow entered the diffusers
