Physics lab interior, Rice Institute

A workroom in the William M. Rice Institute’s Physics Laboratories. A dozen or so separate work stations can be seen, consisting of a smooth polished surface, with a metallic box resting on top, studded with what appear to be electrical switches and a gas outlet. The stations have drawers and cabinet space below, with stools arranged in front of them. Glass doorways can be seen at the far sides of the large room, as well as a tiled floor, and overhead lamps with ceiling fans. The lamps are illuminated.
