Objetivo: Analizar la susceptibilidad antimicrobiana y la variabilidad genética de algunas cepas de Mycobacterium tuberculosis aisladas en la ciudad de Montería. Métodos: Se incluyeron pacientes con diagnóstico clínico de tuberculosis y se tomaron datos sociodemográficos y epidemiológicos. Las muestras de esputos se cultivaron en el medio de Lowenstein-Jensen. Se llevaron a cabo las pruebas de susceptibilidad antimicrobiana por el método de las proporciones múltiples y rifoligotyping de segunda generación. La variabilidad genética se estudió a través del RFLP. Resultados: Mycobacterium tuberculosis se aisló en 67 personas con tuberculosis pulmonar.
