Biodiesel characteristics test of nyamplung seed oil (Calophyllum inophyllum L.) was researched by using catalyst concentration variations of transesterification process. The purpose of research was to produce biodiesel from nyamplung seed oil. Furthermore, there were determined influence catalyst concentration such as: density, viscosity, calorie value, yield biodiesel, and composition of fatty acid by using GC-MS. The value of free fatty acid (FFA) was reduced to 1,46%. Biodiesel was made throught of esterification and transesterification process (ekstrans) at NaOH concentration 0,5%, 1%, 1,5%, and 2%, respectively.
