Analisis Tingkat Pencemaran Logam Hg (Air Raksa) di Pantai Losari Makassar

-ABSTRACT\ud This research aims to examine the quality of Losari Coast waters of Makassar City. The area sampling method is used as the method of sampling in this research on three waste outlets as research stations that representing some regions of sampling. Each station has three points. As for the measurement of physical-chemical parameters performed, they are Temperature, pH, Salinity, DO and TSS as well as Hg. In addition, there is also marine biota studied in order to analyze the bioconcentration of Hg contained on marine biota. The result of this research showed that the Losari Coast waters has been tainted by an average concentration at station 1 amounted 0,0053 mg/l, station 2 amounted 0,0031 mg/l, while station 3 amounted 0,0024 mg/l. According to KEPMENLH No. 51 Year 2004, the water quality standards for marine tourism is 0,002 mg/l this value indicates that the Losari Coast waters are polluted meanwhile for marine biota such as fish, shellfish, shrimp and macrobenthos have been contaminated with a value > 1 based on the calculation of bioconcentration factors.\ud Keywords : Losari Coast pollution, Hg toxic effects, Marine Biota contamination
