Identifikasi Tumbuhan Berkhasiat Obat dan Potensi Pemanfaatannya pada Beberapa Desa di Sekitar Gunung Sesean Kabupaten Toraja Utara

The research about Identification of Medicinal Plants and Potential Drug use was Efficacious In Some Villages Around Mount Sesean North Toraja Regency has been done, is conducted during February-April 2015 in the village of Suloara 'and Village Sesean Matallo North Toraja Regency. This research aimed to know the diversity of medicinal plants used by the community that grew up around Mount Sesean North Toraja Regency. The method which was used by the researcher wascruised method. The result showed that medicinal plants 20 ordo, 26 familia, and 44 species of medicinal plants was grow in around Mount Sesean North Toraja Regency.The most useful species by people come from Familia of Lamiaceae and Familia of Zingiberaceae. The amount of species which were used in the Suloara??? village 32 species and in Sesean Matallo village 29 species, otherwise the untapped species ar Eclipta prostrata L., Gynura crepidioides Benth, and Hyptis capitata Mart & Gal.The most common part of plant organ which is used as an alternative medicine in great quantities was its leaf, while in low quantities was its bark
