Magnetic nanoparticles Fe3O4 have been synthesized from FeCl3.6H2O and FeSO4.7H2O using co-precipitation method with variation the concentration of NH4OH. Thenanoparticleswere characterized by usingX-ray diffraction(XRD) todeterminethe crystallite sizeandScanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)todetermine thesurfacemorphology. The results obtainedfor30% NH4OHconcentrationproducecrystalsizeof8,3629nmandincreases with increasingconcentration ofNH4OHat 9,5363 nmfor90% NH4OHconcentration. The results of SEM shows that the morphology of magnetite nanoparticles are not homogeneous
