The research on potency of Tunicate Rhopalaea sp as a source of inoculum of endosymbiotic bacteria that produces antibacteria has been conducted. This research was intended to know the potential of tunicate as a source of bacteria???s inoculum and the character of symbiotic isolates in tunicate Rhopalaea sp. This paper is first to discuss characterization of the endosymbiont bacteria of Rhopalaea sp. The isolation of endosymbiont bacteria is done by using Marine Agar (MA) medium. The characterization of symbiotic bacteria included colony???s morphology and gram staining.
