In the diagnosis and management of lymphedemas, lymphoscintigraphies occupy a central place. They have to be well understood by clinicians who request these examinations and patients for whom they are proposed. Lymphoscintigraphies must be performed with care and thought, using available materials in the most appropriate ways, with the best applied methodological approaches, and always analyzed and interpreted taking into account the specific patient’s situation and expectations as well as the clinician’s demands. In the second part of this chapter, another approach to lymphedemas using near-infrared fluorescence imaging dedicated devices, the “lympho-fluoroscopies”, are presented and discussed.SCOPUS: ch.binfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe
