For many challenging problems where the mathematical description is not explicitly defined, artificial intelligence methods appear to be much more robust compared to traditional algorithms. Such methods share the common property of learning from examples in order to “explore” the problem to solve. Then, they generalize these examples to new and unseen input signals.
