Simulating large scale complex real-time systems requires enabling infrastructure for real-time co-simulation of various subsystems with complex behaviors and interfaces. AVES (Air Vehicle Simulator) is a reconfigurable flight simulator of the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e. V. (DLR) for research into rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft behavior.
