Climate Change and Livelihood Security - Some Conceptual Considerations

The presentation reflects on the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to look at climate change and livelihood security. The presentation highlights that there is still much ground to cover before physical and social science accept each other equally. The presentation warns of the danger that often physical sciences do not consider social sciences as scientific, and assume that whatever it needs to know that refers to societal aspects of climate change and livelihood security can be covered by physical scientists along the way
