BACKGROUND: Fexofenadine, the hydrochloride salt of terfenadine active metabolite, is a nonsedative, noncardiotoxic antihistamine derivative for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. OBJECTIVE: We sought to compare the effects of terfenadine and fexofenadine on nasal provocation tests with allergen.
