Integration of large-scale renewable energy (RE) sources in particular, wind and solar energy into the grid introduces current and voltage harmonics due to power electronics devices as well as inverter connected into the RE sources. Ensuring adequate harmonics in the line currents of RE integrated power system is one of the biggest challenges today.
