Iran Nuclear Deal: Triumph of Diplomacy or Dangerous Precedent?

Colonel Carlson joins the Sam Nunn School as part of the U.S. Army War College Fellowship Program.Dr. John W. Garver is Professor Emeritus in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology.Jerrod Hayes is an Assistant Professor in The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. His research focuses on the role of identity in the construction of security within democracies, although his research interests are considerably broader and include issues in environmental security, nuclear weapons proliferation, international rivalries, international relations theory, strategy and arms control, and regional level foreign policy and security dynamics in Europe, South Asia, and East Asia.Nolan E. Hertel is a Professor of Nuclear and Radiological Engineering at Georgia Tech. Previously as the coordinator of the Georgia Tech Focused Research Program on Pioneer Research in Nuclear Detection, Dr. Hertel assembled a multidisciplinary group of researchers on the Georgia Tech campus which continues to address the nuclear detection needs for homeland security, nuclear nonproliferation verification and other related activities.Margaret E. Kosal is an Assistant Professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. Her research explores the relationships among technology, strategy, and governance. Her research focuses on two, often intersecting, areas: reducing the threat of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and understanding the role of emerging technologies for security.Lawrence Rubin is an assistant professor in The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
