This project brings together staff and students at the Lincoln School of Journalism (LSJ), the University of Lincoln’s new community radio station, Siren FM, and members of the communities of the greater Lincoln area who comprise the station’s target audience. The project investigates the potential for more effective teaching of journalism skills and involves the students and the community in a partnership improving communication within and between community groups and giving the students the invaluable experience of working with community volunteers
