Home Economics presents five new models for domestic life in the 21st century. The book proposes alternative futures for the home, asking us to re-examine how we live through the lens of time. Contributors include Aditya Chakrabortty (The Guardian), Mark Cousins (AA), Tom Dyckhoff (BBC) and Verity Jane Keefe (UAL) among others. Published by The Spaces to accompany the British Pavilion’s exhibition of the same name at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale (commissioned by the British Council), the book Home Economics examines the changing frameworks – economic, societal, spatial – of contemporary life
