Auditing and monitoring our health inequalities focus The Health Inequalities Impact Assessment Toolkit (HIAT) HIAT functions as a lens through which to assess the extent to which a piece of work proposed within CLAHRC has potential to reduce health inequalities. We have developed this health inequalities toolkit to help ensure that all our activities have potential to contribute to reducing health inequalities. The HIAT document explains why we are focusing on the reduction of health inequalities and provides guidance on the use of the HIAT.
