Blind(fold)ed by light in Lundahl & Seitl’s Symphony in a Missing Room: thinking out loud in the dark

Blindfolded, plunged into darkness… The listener is invited into the dark, to put on headphones and reflect with me on the way in which the work of Lundahl & Seitl encourages each ‘visitor’ to journey through an artistic imagining and to experience perspective in the process. Surveying imagination, memory and (self) consciousness, these thoughts will consider the way in which, in playing across the suspenseful and suspended moment, the visitor becomes highly attuned to attending to waiting and intensely aware of being in the dark during a Lundahl & Seitl event. ...Thoughts emerging from within and beyond the darkness of the moment…thoughts illuminated by the dark.
