The flexural strengthening of reinforced concrete beam can be considered with applied externally bonded steel plate or carbon fiber composite. These external plate is bonded to the tension face of the concrete beam. Two beams were provided in this study to test the flexural strengthening effect of externally bonded CFRP composite. One of them was used for normal condition and the other was applied with CFRP. The result shows that beam with externally CFRP at to the tension face could increase the ultimate flexural strength 41.4 %, increase the ultimate load 49%, strain reduction in the steel reinforced bar 26%, and it also reduced deflection in beam 77. 6%. Debonding failure mechanism between surface of CFRP and concrete dominantly occutred
