ANALISIS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA (HUMAN DEVELOPMENT) PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH TAHUN 2009 - 2011

According to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), human development is a process to expand the options for residents. Based on this definition, population become the ultimate goal of development, while the development effort is a means (principal means) for the purpose. The resident empowerment can be achieved through efforts that focus on improving the basic human ability that can be used to enhance participation in productive activities, social, cultural and political. The success or failure of human development is reflected in three basic conditions i.e. health, education and economic well-being of society. This study aims to determine the effect of number of hospitals, schools and number of regional minimum wages to the human development in Central Java. The method used in this study is panel data fixed effects approach (Fixed Effects Model). The results of this study indicate that variable number of schools and the regional minimum wage and a significant positive effect on the index of human development in Central Java.
