The Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association is inaugurated. John D. McCamus is appointed Dean of Osgoode. Osgoode students help process small claims court actions against the Metro Toronto Police Force for assault, as part of the Citizen’s Independent Review of Police Activities (CIRPA). CIRPA grew out of the Working Group on Police Minority Relations which had been established in response to several incidents in the Toronto area. The John White Society hosts a panel discussion on the Supreme Court’s decision on the new Constitution.https://digitalcommons.osgoode.yorku.ca/image125/1060/thumbnail.jp
