Learning Management Systems (LMSs) provide learning and teaching technological tools and are employed in many education institutions in Australia and internationally. This article describes a project in which a generic, institutionally adopted, online LMS was adapted to a postgraduate professional legal education course to blend the online elements with other existing methods of delivery. The rationale of the project was to add to the existing flexible learning mode and create an enhanced student-centred learning environment as well as improved learning outcomes.
