During the past thirteen years that I have served as Dean of The University of Georgia School of Law, I have especially enjoyed my interaction with the students. Having the opportunity to discuss with them the daily challenges they face in attending law school and their professional aspirations after the completion of their formal legal education was particularly gratifying. As one of my last remaining official duties before I step down from the deanship in July, I take great pleasure and pride in introducing in this directory the Classes of 1988 and 1989 of The University of Georgia School of Law.
