In the eyes of the visitors Sicily unveils its landscapes, not one but many. Those inland , statics almost to quote an old memory , immense and full of loneliness- the large estates and desolate- different from the dynamism of the coast and cities that populate the common imagery. The Fascist period accounted for the Sicilian landscape a moment of profound changes. Improving social and economic wanted by Mussolini did not see the end of the war; intervention, still recognizable on the territory, is the evidence of a very intense period in terms of historical, social and architectural.
