The growth of a TiO2 nanotubes (NTs) array into a microfluidic electrochemical reactor is here demonstrated. The same microsystem can be also exploited to decorate the NTs with Ag nanoparticles by in situ photoreduction thus fabricating an opto-fluidic sensor based on the SERS effect, avoiding any ambient contamination of the substrate
