Shellfish investigations progress report: no.38 (April 1, 1966-March 31, 1967)

This report is an update of shellfish investigations from April 1966-March 1967. It includes the bay clam abundance/age growth surveys, with emphasis on the Yaquina, Umpqua, and Coos Bays. The study on life history for the cockle clam is discussed. The report goes over razor clams harvest numbers and age composition. It includes information for the cooperative cruise with California to study crabs, as well as condition sampling and commercial production numbers for crabs. The report concludes with an update on the intertidal animals and the issuing of collection permits
