Due to its negative effects, antioxidants are studied and used against ROS in medicine, pharmaceuticals and therapeutics. Because of issues with the uptake and delivery of natural antioxidants, nanoparticle (NP) antioxidants are promising due to their higher bioavailability, solubility and stability.
