In this paper, we briefly describe the flows between life and environment from the perspectives of entropy, redefine the maximum entropy in biological systems based on a new conjecture, and propose a possible approach to explain the mechanism of life evolution. At the end, we point out the issues exist in this conjecture and discuss the future work required for perfecting this conjecture. This research was supported by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)
