This report is one in a series on the economic analysis of alternative swine production systems. The other reports of this series evaluate confinement farrow-to-finish production systems, confinement feeder pig production systems, and a one and twolitter farrow-to-finish pasture system. This series of reports has been prepared under Minnesota Experiment Station Project MIN 14-025: "An Economic Analysis of Swine Production Systems in Minnesota." This publication describes and evaluates three confinement hog finishing systems by calculating annual enterprise budgets and monthly cash flows for each system and then comparing the results.
