This highway begins at the Iowa state line south of Albert Lea, and passes northward through the Twin Cities to Duluth and thence extends along the north shore of Lake Superior to the Pigeon River near Port Arthur, Ontario. The report includes thirteen maps which show the locations of roads, towns, and villages, and most of the rocks and land forms that are described in the text.
