The University of Minnesota Forest Resources Department in cooperation with Region 3 of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service created a high-resolution vegetation cover database of Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Chariton County, Missouri to assist in resource planning. This specific mapping project spanned the months of October 2003 through September 2004.
