The infrared spectra of the monohydride and monodeuteride of gallium were measured in emission with the Bruker IFS 120 HR Fourier transform spectrometer at the University of Waterloo. While recording the GaD spectrum at $1400^{\circ} C$, the spectrum of the impurity SiO was observed.
