Author Institution: Dept. of Chemistry, University of ArizonaThe infrared spectra of the $x^{2}\Pi$ state of CH and the $x^{1}\Sigma^{+}$ state of $XeH^{+}$ were observed with the McMath Fourier transform spectrometer at Kitt Peak. The 1-0, 2-1, and 3-2 vibration-rotation bands of CH were detected in a microwave discharge of $CH_{4}$ in He. The $XeH^{+}$ molecule was made in a nickel hollow cathode discharge lamp containing 2.2 Torr of $H_{2}$ and 0.1 Torr of Xe. Molecular constants for $^{132}XeH^{+}$ include $\Gamma_{e} =1.602813(6) A. w_{e} =226.9674(11) cm^{-1}$ and $w_{e}x_{e} =41.32830(34) cm^{-1}$
