INTENSITIES AND SELF-BROADENING OF OZONE NEAR $5 \mu m$

Address of Malathy Devi and Benner: Physics Depeartment, College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virgiania, 23185.Author Institution:A series of high-resolution $(0.005 cm^{-1})$ spectra of pure ozone have been recorded at room temperature using the Fourier transform spectrometer at the National Solar Observatory on Kitt Peak. Each spectrum covers the entire region from $1100 cm^{-1}$ to $2600 cm^{-1}$ and has a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 150:1. Initial analyses of these spectra in the $5 \mu m$ region have resulted in intensities for a number of lines in the $\nu_{1} + \nu_{3}, 2\nu_{3}$, and $\nu_{1} + \nu_{2} + \nu_{3} - \nu_{2}$ bands, as well as self-broadened halfwidths in the $\nu_{1} + \nu_{3}$ bands.
