Author Institution: Department of Chemistry, Rensselaer Polytechnic InstituteThe microwave spectrum of trifluoroethylene oxide has been investigated in the region of 26.5 to 35 GHz. The molecule exhibits strong $\mu_{b}$ and $\mu_{c}$ -type transitions, as well as considerably weaker $\mu_{a}$ -type transitions. A centrifugal distortion analysis was carried out using 120 transitions, including R-branch transition up to $J = 29\to 30$ and Q-branches to $J = 29$. The rotational constants which were determined from an eight parameter fit are: $A=6669.566(2), B=3126.567(1), and C=2652.440(1)$. These constants are consistent with predictions based on the experimental structural trends established for other fluorinated oxiranes
