R-branch a-type transitions of the gauche and trans conformers have been assigned yielding the rotational and centrifugal distortion constants (in MHz) [FIGURE] Strong vibrational satellites probably due to methyl torsion and torsion about the $O-CH_{2}$ bond are present in the spectrum of each conformer
