This work was supported in part by the National Science Foundation.Author Institution: Department of Chemistry, Michigan State UniversityThe microwave spectrum of vinylcyclopropane has been examined in the 8-37 GHz region and several series of near symmetric top a-type transitions have been assigned for the species with the vinyl group trans to the cyclopropane ring. The rotational constants are $A = 15225.82$ MHz, $B = 3061.42$ MHz, and $C = 2941.28$ MHz. From Stark effect measurements of several of the transitions the components of the dipole moment have been found to be $\mu_{a}= 0.51 D, \mu_{e} = 0.04 D$, with $\mu_{b}$ assumed zero. The total dipole moment $\mu = 0.51 D$
