Author Institution: Laboratoire de chimie Physique Moleculaire CPi 160/09, Universite libre de BurxellesWe have recorded the absorption spectrum of nitrous oxide at high resolution with a Fourier transform interferometer, from the mid-infrared to the near-infrared ranges. Several bands are reported for he first time and tentatively assigned in this work. We shall first report on the $1250 cm^{-1}$ energy range, taking care of new absolute intensity and line broadcasting measurements, as well as of an artificial line removal technique we shall then examine the evolution of the anharmonic couplings in higher energy ranges.
