Author Institution:Extensive measurements and analyses have been carried out of the microwave spectra of several potential atmospheric pollutants, including for example $CF_{2}Cl_{2}$, HOCl, HCOCl. Although the Spectra of the most abundant isotopic species in their ground vibrational states have been examined in greatest detail, measurements have also been made for other is isotopic species. The results provide a useful catalogue of lines which could be used for monitoring purposes. The derived spectroscopic constants can be used to predict accurately further transitions. In addition, these measurements have been combined with infrared data to refine the molecular structures
