Phys. 58, 1771-1772 (1973)Author Institution:The $2\nu_{1}+\nu_{4}$ infrared spectrum of $^{12}CF_{4}$ near $2445 cm^{-1}$ was first observed with a $0.04 cm^{-1}$ resolution by A. MAKI et al |1| who gave three molecular constants. New measurement have been now obtained with a $0.005 cm^{-1}$ resolution Fourier spectrometer. The spectral region used for our analysis lies between P (70) at $2406.5 cm^{-1}$ and R (45) at $2468.1 cm^{-1}$. In this investigation we have adopted a simple model where only diagonal terms are taken into account in Moret-Bailly’s formalism |2|, a choice which is confirmed by our results. About 500 lin...
