Author Institution:The line-widths and self-broadening and nitrogen-broadening coefficients for P and R branch lines from the $CO_{2}$ hot bands (001-100) and (001-020) have been measured using a tunable semiconductor diode laser. Several lines have been observed in the temperature from $80-200^{\circ} C$ to determine the temperature dependence of the pressure broadening coefficients
