HIGH RESOLUTION INFRARED SPECTRUM OF $\nu_{4}$(E) BAND OF $CD_{3}F^{*}$

$^{*}$Research supported by the Planetary Atmospheres program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration under Grant NGL-43-001-006.Author Institution:The $\nu_{4}$ perpendicular band of $CD_{3}F$ from 2175 – 2330 $cm^{-1}$ has been recorded on the University of Tennessee five meter Littrow spectrometer with resolution of $0.020 - 0.026$ $cm^{-1}$. More than 700 transitions of the types $^{R}R, ^{R}P, ^{P}P$ and $^{P}R$ have been assigned. Preliminary analysis of the $\nu_{4}$ state ($J\leq 20, 2\leq K\leq 10$) has yielded values of $\nu_{0} =2258.587 \pm 0.003$ $cm^{-1}, \alpha^{A}_{4} = (A^{\prime\prime}-A^{\prime}) = (1.234 \pm 0.003) \times 10^{-2}$ $cm^{-1}, \alpha^{B}_{4} = (4.37 \pm 0.08) \times 10^{-4}$ $cm^{-1}$ and ($A\zeta^{z})_{4} = 0.50229 \pm 0.00009$ $cm^{-1}$. A small l-doubling effect in the K=0 subband has also observed ($q^{(+)}_{4} = +4 \times 10^{-4} cm^{-1}$). Further analysis is in progress including a GSCD analysis
