Author Institution: Institute for Molecular ScienceThe $\nu_{2}$ bending fundamental of the $NH_{2}$ radical $(\nu_{0}=1497.319$ $cm^{-1})$ has been studied by the technique of laser magnetic resonance. The $NH_{2}$ radical was generated in a flow-through cell by reacting hydrogen atoms and hydrazine. The hydrogen atoms were generated by a microwave (2450 MHz) discharge of $H_{2}O$. The cell was placed inside the CO laser cavity and between the pole caps of a Varian $15^{\prime\prime}$ electromagnet. By using $^{12}CO$ and $^{13}CO$ laser lines, over 160 Zeeman resonances involving $J\leq 7$ and $K_{a}\leq 4$ have been detected and assigned, enabling accurate determination of the band origin and of the excited state rotational, centrifugal ...
