Author Institution: Laboratory for Physical Chemistry, ETHBesides well known products of the gas phase ozonolysis of ethylene, formic anhydride, glycolaldehyde, ethylene oxide and acetaldehyde have been detected by combined linear reactor infrared matrix- and microwave spectroscopy. Microwave and IR matrix spectra of products of $^{12}CH_{2}^{13}CH_{2}$ ozonolysis were identified in order to elucidate the reaction mechanism. The distribution of $^{13}{C}$-isotopic species was qualitatively determined. The implications of the results for the reaction mechanism will be discussed
