Author Institution: University of North Carolina; Department of Chemistry, Furman UniversityInfrared and Raman spectra of 1, 1-ditmethylcyclopropane and its methyl-deuterium derivative have been recorded from 4000 to 50 $cm^{-1}$ in all three physical states. A vibrational assignment will be prepared on the basis of band contours, depolorization ratios and isotopic frequency shifts. The data will be correlated with that for similar ring systems. The interesting low frequency region will be discussed in detail
