INFRARED SPECTRA OF HCN ISOTOPES IN ARGON MATRICES

The discrepancy in the ratio of the C-H and C-N bond lengths compared to the gas phase, and the size of the solvent shifts of the vibrational frequencies are discussed in terms of various models for the argon- HCN interaction. The relative intensities of the isotopic frequncies in the matrix are compared to those in the gas phase
